In 2015, in 22 of the 27 companies considered, the average salary of the CEO it has in fact recorded a further 9% surge. In contrast, medium-low wages remain at the stake, and a growing fear of losing their jobs.

The new CEO of Credit Suisse, Tidjane Thiam leads the ranking of the richest. The French-Ivorian, although driving a bank that in recent months a strong erosion of their stock market value, grossed 20.3 (+ 117%) million francs, a sum that incorporates an entrance award as compensation for missed bonus paid by his former employer. The relationship between the remuneration of the CEO and the lowest wage is now 1: 363.

The sharp increase in remuneration was also recorded by other companies: the CEO of Lonza gained 58% more, Valora 54% UBS 28%, 23% Kuoni, Georg Fischer 22% and ABB 20% .

According Travail Suisse, the gap must be necessarily limited and crying out the intervention of politics: the first step is to change the company law, so that it is prohibited the payment of allowances of entry into operation as well as departure.

Since such a measure is likely to be insufficient, Travail Suisse claims tax transparency for the high salaries and the launch of a public debate on the contribution of solidarity.
