Microsoft is laying off 2850 people within June 2017

Microsoft has announced plans to lay off 2,850 employees in the next 12 months. In particular, the company highlighted that in addition to the reduction of 1,850 jobs announced in May, will cut 2,850 more workers by the end of fiscal 2017.
Cut 1,850 staff in May is part of the restructuring plan of the company because of the negative results of the mobile division. Among these, in fact, they stand 1,350 Finnish employees working for Nokia. Within this new round of layoffs, it is expected to layoff staff in Salesforce Microsoft division that has recently been reorganized to followed the departure of Kevin Turner.
In total, Microsoft has laid off 7,400 employees in its latest fiscal year that ended June 30. The new round of layoffs would, however, always part of Microsoft's reorganization plan as a result of the failures of the mobile division. The company declined to comment on the location of the employees.
