Amazon experiments 30-hour work week

The American giant online sales Amazon tries to erase the controversy over the quality of the treatment of its employees and launched the trial of a 30-hour work week, from 40 as a rule, reserved for the moment to teams of a few dozen temporary workers full.
The company is forming small groups of workers, including managers, on a limited time schedule. These employees, unlike dozens of part-time employees will receive the same benefits as full-time employees, and 75 percent of the salary of workers to 40 hours a week, as the Washington Post (which is owned by CEO Jeff Bezos) explained.
The weekly time reduction is aimed at creating a more stimulating working environment for employees. The new weekly working agenda should be limited to Monday-Thursday, from 10 am to 2 pm, with the addition of other "flexible hours."
About a year ago, the New York Post described it in an article, the highly stressful work environment, with employees coming up to 80 hours per week.
