Swiss Emmentaler is the Superfood, South Korea’s research says

As if you needed any more justification, the case for eating cheese just got stronger. Granted the study was carried out on worms, but researchers at Korea University in Seoul have found a link between cheese and longevity.

Emmentaler – a.k.a. Swiss cheese (cow’s milk cheese with cherry-sized holes) – contains the bacterium Propionibacterium freudenreichii. Hackers have discovered that one of the most central elements of online security, the mobile phone number, is also one of the easiest to steal; and it’s is an increasingly growing problem, the New York Times reports.

Nevada declared "state of emergency" for marijuana sales

Legalized recreational marijuana is a hit in Nevada, so much so that the state’s pot stores are almost out of supply after just 10 days.

On Friday, Gov. Brian Sandoval endorsed the department’s call for a "statement of emergency," which would allow for more licensed distributors, the Reno Gazette-Journal reported. The problem is pretty simple: there’s no supply for a booming demand.

Nearly 50 dispensaries in the state have licenses to sell marijuana for recreational use. Those sales got underway on July 1. But those same retailers do not legally have the authority to restock their inventories.

A green light on sustainable property

What do you think of when you hear the words ‘sustainability’ or ‘being green’? Does it conjure images of long-haired hippy-types wearing brown sandals and hugging trees? Saving polar bears? Or recycling Coke cans and yoghurt pots? Environmental issues are often misunderstood and seen as someone else’s problem. Worse, they are even ignored and considered to be irrelevant to modern business.
