Food supply chain 2.0

The need for food is universal but the production and distribution chain is not as technological yet as it should be, in order to ensure safety of food and the possibility for anyone to have it.
Project Amber by team Ambrosus aims to do that using the blockchain technology to record the whole chain of food. This could ensure the trust towards producers.
This system would help, too, to create more complete labels, ensuring even buyers of bio products are told everything about what they are buying. Even the use of resources can be more sustainable.
Ambrosus uses sensors for quick analysis, not altering food, and records everything on the blockchain, so that data can’t be altered. This also ensures immediate payments and smart contracts.

Ambrosus was presented in Zürich, Geneva, Lugano and Milano by Finlantern and Monaco Growth Forums.
