Forex: Swedish Crown slumps to two-year low

During Tuesday’s trading session, the Swedish Crown depreciated against the US Dollar by 1601 pips or 1.73% to a two year low at 9.4215. The reason for the drop was Sweden’s central bank’s official report on the inflation slowing down in January.

However, during the last week, the Swedish Crown experienced a rise against other currencies after Sweden’s central bank said it would stick to its plan to raise rates in the second half of 2019.
