GADGETS: it’s that time of the year for Apple lovers

It is that time of the year. Not Christmas yet, although Apple fanatics will judge it even more relevant. New iPhones have been presented, the #8 model, in two versions, plus the iPhone X, celebrating the tenth anniversary of the first iPhone.
The first difference is the screen: the 8 comes with a 4.7 inch or a slightly bigger one at 5.5. The X is only sold with a 5.8 screen. It’s not just bigger, though. The display uses the OLED technology instead of a standard LCD.
The most futuristic feature, however, is possibly the biometrics it uses: instead of Touch ID, iPhone X uses a 3D scan of the owner’s face to unlock. The 8 will reter the touch button. Even charging will be simpler, as soon as the two new models come out: a charging pad will allow charging without even plugging in. It will be enough to leave the phone on the set. Battery on the X should last longer, while the 8 will be comparable to the 7.
Another improvement on the X will be the image stabilization on its dual camera, a feature that it shares with the 8+.
The new models will come out at different times: the 8 will be available for preorder on September 15th and will be in stores on September 22nd, while the X will be out on November 3rd. Prices will start at 839 euros for the 8 and 1189 euros for the X.
