Swiss people "don’t like" teleworking

Although high-speed Internet access is easy, the home telework is still the exception in Switzerland: in 2015 only 2.7% of the working population worked from home comfortably.

Reading in a complete statistics, from 2001 to 2015 the number of "teleworkers" people has quadrupled, reaching a height of 120,000, as the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) indicates in his report "The home telework in Switzerland, 2001- 2015 ".

The proportion of persons, that make less than half of their works at home, is also quadrupled since 2001, rising to 810.000 units. Overall, last year 21% of the workforce worked at least occasionally from their home.

The most affected sector is that of '' Information and Communication ", with more than 50% of the active working from home at least occasionally. It follows the teaching, with 45%. The "specialized, scientific and technical" to almost one-third of teleworkers at least occasional, while financial assets quarter. The UFS does not yet have data related to mobile telework, played in means of transport or in other places.
