Switzerland: import-export records recovery

Swiss exports in July have progressed by 7.9% to 17.7 billion, and imports by 11.8% to € 14.8 billion. This was announced by the Federal Customs Administration stating that this figure takes into account the fact that in the month under review, there were two working days less than in July 2015.
The trade balance thus closed with a surplus of 2.9 billion Swiss francs (July 2015: € 3.7 billion). In a statement, the authority shall specify that in real terms the export and import increases were respectively 2.4% and 8.2%.
Among the ten major categories of goods exported, seven have registered a growth. The difficult moment watchmaking industry is going on: in July products were exported to 1.64 billion francs, down 14.2% from the same month of 2015.
